Thanks for your advice, Wizzbang.
I had already tried a large new Wilko:APennySaved wrote: »I have tried at [. . .] cheap household goods shops
BTW if "Glo" only does the whitening product that I saw in a shop the other day, then it's a no-go at present, as the CRR non-white product "Dr Beckmann's" is what I need at the mo. But I may well need "Glo" in the future so i's good to know who stocks it!
So I tried a Co-Op. In case they had one or the other/both of "Glo" or "Dr Beckmann's". Again, like Wilko, this was one of the larger shops in the store range, not a village/small Co-Op. But again had no joy! :undecided Not for "Glo", nor BTW for "Dr Beckmann's".
Hey-ho!
Interestingly, all that the Co-Op had in stock as any kind of colour-run remover was the Dylon product, & I noted these are indeed sheets. And as these sheets are no good for us:APennySaved wrote: »the instructions for our Hotpoint washing machine says in-wash sheets are not to be used under any circs. [...] I wasn't aware Dylon did a similar product, so will give that a go if Dr Beckmann's isn't available. As long as it's powder, not sheets!!
It's interesting that the range in stock is not the same in all shops (of the same size) in different towns/areas, as I had thought!:APennySaved wrote: »As high street shops are nearly identical UK-wide these days, I reckon any well-known retailer located at a town anywhere in the UK will stock it!
Maybe I'll try Wilko online. Or Googling the manufacturer of "Dr Beckmann's": sometimes manufacturers suggest stockists of their product . . .APennySaved

Wilko do stock it, I'd get in touch with their customer services or ask to speak to the manager.

Popped into one of the larger Wilko's that had I tried earlier, to see if this item was now stocked and in stock that day.
( As although had bought some online already, after the last time, but will no doubt need some more soon!)
Again, they didn't have the Dr Beckmann's colour run remover item in.
Although there was a HUGE selection of JUST the products used to solve washing stains/runs/etc., incl. 3 types of the 'sheet' invention.
But on this occasion I noticed there was an empty section on one of the shelves, & thought this might be an out-of-stock area for the Dr B product. So I checked that section's shelf label. And it was!
It's great to know that the shop has started to stock it of coirse, but not that it was o.o.s. !
In fact, as this was the ONLY product - in a 3-foot wide complete shelving section full of anti washing stain products - that was out of stock, I think that tells us that this is a product Wilko (etc.!) need to stock more of.
Hey ho, back to the Wilko's website again!!APennySaved

Had forgotten my subsequent research! That Dr Beckmann's not only have lots of info online - incl. handy PDF'd instructions - but they also sell their own products:
Colour Run Remover - for white garments - 1 x 75g
(www.dr-beckmann.co.uk/product/colour-run-remover
Colour Safe Colour Run Remover - for mixed-colour-garments - 2 x 65ml
(www.dr-beckmann.co.uk/product/coloursafe-colour-run-remover/)
The only downsides are:
(i) It can get VERY confusing as Dr Beckmann keep changing the product name/weight unit/hand or machine usage/etc. And yet they still leave the old webpage online!
e.g. the Colour Safe Colour Run Remover - for mixed-colour-garments - 2 x 65ml
was previously known as:
Colour Run Remover - for mixed-colour-garments - 2 x 25g
(and can still be found at webpage: www.dr-beckmann.co.uk/products/colour-protection-products/colour-run-remover/)
(ii) And it can be confusing too that the packets vary how they state the weight of the contents - in grammes or millilitres. Depending upon when the packet was manufactured etc. So whatever the age of the pack that the seller stocks, the buyer will get that!
But the product prices at www.dr-beckmann.co.uk are great; & the P&P is a flat cost of only £3.25, & even better is FREE if u buy 5 items or more. :TAPennySaved
