Help! Discharge suspended indefinitely

Hi I was declared bankrupt on 4th of December 2014, slightly after I was made homeless and have been sofa surfing and in and out of work since.
Because of the above situation I had my meeting with the official receiver and that was the last I heard.
In april of this year I started a job that is pretty secure (as secure as jobs go in this day and age)
I am currently in a situation to be able to rent a house and get myself back on my feet, I'm assuming the next step will be to contact the OR or should I get independent legal advice first before I do that (I have no assets)
Oh and also to add the order to suspend discharge was made in Nov 15

Thanks in advance

I think ultimately you'll have to speak to the OR, as I expect only the OR can discharge you. I've no Idea what happens to an IPA, but I think the bankruptcy would drop off after 6 years(provided you get discharged).

It may well be the best/only option is to pickup bankruptcy where you left it. I except the OR will want to see bank statements going back to when contact was lost(as windfall may have been due).

Your current income and expenditure may help, as if you wouldn't get an IPA now there may be little to gain from fighting it, if you would be paying an IPA based on income over what period, from now or from date of bankruptcy
