Full-time work as a full-time student

Hi I have a quick question. I recently read an article stating that more and more students are beginning to work either full or part time during their courses. I have been interviewed for a position that would allow me to work self-employed with full-time hours during my final year of university. My question is will this affect my student loan? They have never asked for financial information from myself, only from my parents, but I seem to recall one of the forms saying not to mention any 'part-time work'. Will this affect my eligibility if I am working self-employed?

No.
It's not a new trend for students to have part time jobs.0 -
Thank you for your reply. However, my question was regarding full time work and not part-time work. I am aware that you can work part-time as a student without problem, however I wish to know how being self-employed and working full-time would affect my eligibility.0

I worked FT at uni - fitting hours around academic studies. It was tough going. I worked 37hrs/wk in retail and did some freelance work occasionally too.
There was no issues from a university perspective because it didn't interfere with my academic studies.0 -
Hi, thank you for your reply. Did this affect your student loan eligibility? My worry is that they'll take back any student loan (around 6000£) and i'll end up worse off than before. Thank you0
