Phone Number

Recently receiving calls from 0800 092 0762. Searches on the internet show this is BLS Collections, who are owned wholly by Lloyds Banking Group. I have never dealt with Lloyds, is it safe to call back?

Yes, I have contact with BLS and they are totally legit
  • Why would you want to call back a number which didn't leave a message for you? Surely, if it's important they will ring you again.

Ditto. If it's important and legit, they will write to you.
Lloyds did acquire then un-acquire many brands, it might be worth checking a suitable on-line encyclopedia to see if you ever dealt with any of them.

How long have you had that number ? Is it home or mobile ? That might give you an idea of when the event occurred, that they want to contact you about.
Do you have an answerphone, and does the message say your name ? If so, it will be you they are after ; if not, maybe having just a forename is best.
