I hate to say it but my boy didn't want to be born either. I went 2 weeks overdue, then had 48 hours of the midwife trying to induce him... nothing. In the end they had to go in and get him.
If it helps any, he's almost 17 now and was the most chilled out baby I've ever known and is a really laid back kid. He's never given me a day's trouble and I've never had an ounce of teenage-ness. So maybe waiting the extra couple of weeks had its up side

I am trying to remain somewhat philosophical - what will be will be and all that... but still very hopeful as I've bought a birth pool - not very MSE if it doesn't get used (though OH thinks a paddling pool in the dining room is just what we need...)
A healthy baby is more important than anything though so however he gets here, I won't complain
