I am applying for a FTB mortgage through Natwest. My dad is gifting the deposit and has provided a gift deposit letter. Will he need to provide anything else?
Solicitors waiting for a document from Natwest which is being re-sent today but the help centre guy was a bit vague as to what it says. My dad is abroad so trying to minimise any delays in returning necessary paperwork.

Ask your solicitor if anything else is required, they will be providing these documents to the mortgage lender. My parents are providing a small amount towards our next house and both of them had to provide bank statements proving where the money had lived for the last 3 months.0

I was advised that my parents would need to sign a gift declaration and give proof of bank statements.
In the end Accord only wanted the letter.0
