    Evening all.
A totally miserable evening out there.
Not a lot achieved here today although everyone has made it to work / school and back again. WM run and bathroom cleaned once I got home. I know it wasn't on the list but I had been avoiding it for the past week. Dinner cooked, and the kitchen looked like a disaster zone. Made a start at cleaning that, and heard water dripping....water coming through the ceiling from the shower. I think that I now have more RoDs in the house than rooms of....non-doom?!
So for tonight, I have had enough, so I'm having a cuppa and typing on the fred :o

Well day one completed although I am so tired I'm not sure how I managed it.

Only did the basics though including sweep and mop the floor. As I get into it I will venture into the other levels.

Evening all and a warm welcome LoLo :hello:

Hugs all round and fixing vibes for all those with bothersome 'stuff' happening

We've had three thunderstorms here today and the rain and wind was horrendous  Managed to pop into town between them and pick up my orders of undies and map and didn't get too wet.

I have finally finished going through all my clothes - a few chucked and a few to cs, so now just need to get DH to give me a hand to vacuum-pack my thick woollies.

If it's gone I've done it or don't have one

    Evening all, and welcome LoLo.

Eeughhhh! - hope your DH is up to dealing with the vermin, pigpen  :eek:

I spent the morning on placement, did some clothes shopping in the market town, spent the afternoon out with the Old Wives visiting a wildlife meadow (we were lucky to miss the heavy showers) and drinking tea at the adjacent GC, did a big food shop on the way home, and spent the evening at home. I have made more cakes for a sale on Wednesday, cooked a proper meal, S&S'd the kitchen and watched TV for half an hour before falling asleep on the sofa. That's about it :o

I need to sort my papers for college tomorrow and also start the WM before I go to bed tonight.

DH rang the DVLA this afternoon and has been told that he may drive again. We've just got to arrange to put him back on the insurance first thing in the morning. Then he will be able to ferry himself wherever he wants to go and I might have time for gardening again :j He will also be able to take his friend out and about when he comes to stay with us during one of my busiest weeks later this month. Now he just has to get his ankle better (it's improving slowly, and he has arranged to sit in the office for most of the time and work on a new training manual when he goes to work on the railway on Saturday, rather than walk up and down the platform all day) and his hips sorted (they are definitely getting worse - he has a physio appointment at the end of the month, but the GP said if this doesn't work he will need to go on the waiting list for a hip replacement), then if nothing else happens I might have a mobile, healthy DH for the first time in about 5 years!

    Enjoy your visitors, kaz :)

    Morning all. Welcome Lolo.

Me and the dogs have eaten and I've washed the dishes. Going to get dressed now and walk them before it rains again, then tackle the hobby room and hopefully some of the list.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning All

Just about to make my omelette, kiddies are fed and dressed. It is still persisting it down here, a day at home planned today so will get cracking with the lists. Really wanted to walk to school but rain has put paid to that.

I fell asleep watching Pirates last night, and woke up very confused when the iPad was still playing but the next movie! It took me a while to remember where I was :p

    Have fab days all x

Opened curtains. Looked outside. Shuddered. Made coffee. Switched WM and DW off while kettle boiled. Came back to bed with coffee.
