What to do with over blended pesto?

I had some basil and spinach, so decided to make some pesto.
However I used my new blender and it now looks like a pea green soup. I did want to make a pesto pasta salad but the texture isn't right.
What else can i do with this gloop? Parmesan cheese, olive oil and pine nuts are too expensive to waste.
Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Add tomato pur!e, lemon juice and more garlic to the pesto, mix. Then spread onto the top of salmon or chicken before cooking. It is yummy.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Thanks for all the suggestions, it's still in the fridge but I am thinking I may make a further batch but this time just thinly chop the basil and spinach, pine nuts and thinly grate the parmesan, see how that looks and start mixing the two together.
I hadn't thought about freezing it, I have never frozen pesto so I will try freezing some of the new batch.Add tomato pur!e, lemon juice and more garlic to the pesto, mix. Then spread onto the top of salmon or chicken before cooking. It is yummy.
I love pesto on salmon, but this is so runny it would go all down the sides. I have made pesto a few times but it has never turned out like this. My fault for overblending. It's that thin I'm sure it would easily pass through a sieve.:(0 -
Hopefully the pesto will still taste good even if it is over blended.0

I have a dish of potatoes, onions, peppers and cherry tomatoes tray baked with pesto and a piece of salmon of chicken cooked on top. I usually have the thin the pesto down so it could work for that type of thing as it's supposed to coat the veg.0
