Has any body tried to remove rust stains from a handbag? In a crazy moment I thought I would wash a Kipling handbag I popped it in a pillowcase and put in on a quick low wash but its stained where the metal rivets are
Would be more upset if Id paid proper price for it but it was only £3 ,last year from the chazzer its a light grey and its really noticeable so any tips would help thanks!!:)

Wow - I wash my Kiplings in the machine all the time and I've never had this problem... they are marketed as water resistant as well so I wouldn't ever expect the rivets to rust.
I'd try white vinegar or lemon juice to try to soak it out.:hello:0 -
I've washed a Kipling bag too without problems - not in anything, just shoved on it's own in the machine.
You can buy a liquid rust-remover from the supermarket - think it might be called something like Dr Bechmann- I once used that & it was successful.0 -
