Hi all,

Sorry if this is in the wrong thread!

If you buy something on Finance through Creation, does this give you section 75 rights? (my research suggests so, but I don't fully understand it).

If so, are they correct when they say Section 75 does not apply if the account has been settled? Creation have told me because we settled and paid our debt early (didn't go through the full term of monthly payments) they have closed the account, subsequently meaning we are not entitled to Section 75

Massive thanks in advance for any help.

If the credit is directly linked to a purchase, the section 75 will apply.

Section 71 relates to interest and cancellation of accounts, so you may have been talking at cross purposes with the agent
  • I made a right balls up of my first post! Corrected now, for some reason I started putting 71 instead of 75!
