Terms and Conditions

The competition closes at midnight on 30th June 2017. Entrants must be strictly over 18. Any entries made after midnight on 30th June 2017 will not be considered. Multiple entries and entries from automated services will not be counted. The winner will be chosen at random and contacted directly via email.

The prize includes First Class return tickets for a family of two adults and up to three children for travel on Virgin Trains East Coast services only, between any two Virgin Trains East Coast calling stations on the east coast route (details of which can be found here). The tickets are not valid for Virgin Trains journeys along the west coast route. The prize must be taken by 31 December 2017.

The meal at Galvin Brasserie de Luxe is for a 3-course seasonal menu for up to two adults and two children, with one drink per person. Subject to availability, valid until 28th February 2018, excluding Saturdays and Sundays in August, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years’s Eve and New Year's Day, and Valentine’s Day 2018.

The stay at the Radisson Blu Royal Mile hotel is for one family room for two nights, and excludes August 2017, 7-14 September 2017, 30th December 2017 - 2nd January 2018, 9-12 February 2018 and 23-26 February 2018, and is otherwise valid until 30th April 2018. Advance reservation is required, subject to availability. Cannot be rebooked in event of a late cancellation/no-show.

The prize also includes a family tour with Rabbie's Tours and vouchers for entry into Camera Obscura and World of Illusions for two adults and two children.

No cash or other alternative will be given. Any additional costs incurred during the winner and their guests’ visit must be covered by the prize holder. The prize winner will be informed within a week of the competition closing.

Prizes are subject to availability. Please provide 7 days' notice before your chosen date of travel. You may be required to consider alternative dates if your first date is fully booked

It is the responsibility of the winner to arrange their transport to and from Virgin Trains East Coast calling stations.

Winners’ surnames and cities are available upon request.

Employees and family of Virgin Trains East Coast or any agencies connected with the set up of this competition are not eligible to enter.
