My deferred Rio Tinto pension is with them. No online functionality. Phoned for a CETV and this took 2 weeks to arrive. No problems thus far. Now slightly worried about admin if I decide to transfer.

I have an RTZ pension with them too. Not had any issues. When I requested the CETV it arrived fairly quickly I think. I didn't move it, and I won't be doing so.
No idea about the accuracy of the figures they give for the pension of course, but that would be true whoever the company was.

They are my pension administrator too. Customer service 'fair' but not that speedy and they couldn't understand why I was complaining to them when they said they paid pensions in advance but started paying mine in arrears. Turned out the website was wrong.

Transfer values - no problem seeing.

Overpayment! Hope the Ombudsman can help with that if you get nowhere with WTW. Not sure they have a leg to stand on as you will have signed a contract with them. Can they breach that contract?

Though their website allows access in conjunction with employers to view amend and calculate/Track DB Pension.
    I've been increasing auto enrol for 2-3 years -1% 3% 5%
+ Ive only very recently requested +5% AVC;s as I'm since part time, my existing fund is quite depleted from what would have been a decent fund from full time pension.

I'm impressed on ability to view and change investments which I have done once
Hopefully once u.k. trade is sorted, my index linked guilt pension investment re starts to grow again as seems to have stalled past year or two.

  • Absolutely shocking service from this pension administrator, you don't feel like the customer.
Ask for pension transfer value and it suddenly seems really complicated.
Promised to deliver by a date and still waiting.
Goodness knows what is going on with my pension and my company is not interested at all!!

Your company might not be interested, but your pension scheme trustees should be. Contact them and make sure they are in the picture (but be aware that transfer values ARE really complicated and do take time). How long 'overdue' is yours?
  • I have never had any problems with them.

They have always responded in a timely manner to any requests for a CETV in recent years. I never opted to transfer because the amount offered was never enough to justify it.

They have just started to pay out my pension and I am happy so far.
