VW Golf clutch repair / replacement

Can anyone recommend a garage (ideally in Belfast / North Down) that could replace the clutch on a VW Golf, do a good job but not charge a fortune?
I'm not sure if a repair will be possible (clutch release bearing is going) and I know the main dealer is going to quote megabucks for a new clutch if we bring it to them.
