Vanquis Credit Card?

Just wondered what people knew about this product - good and bad reviews?
I've just had a look at one for my brother who is looking to try and do some 'credit repair' if you will now he has cleared his debt (a whopping 22k!) ... ie. spend £10 a month and clear it in full without fail!
Now on the Vanquis website it states if you're approved there is no annual fee .... having read some reviews on other websites there is a fee?
Does anyone know anything about this company or should I advise him to stay well clear at all costs?!

 Hi sweetie,
As usual I don't know.

But I'm sure I saw Vanquis CC on Quidco so I bet somebody on here's got one, and can offer a more useful opinion.
So consider yourself bumped up.

I have one  But I only use it if I am buying something online that I want to be covered for, and pay it off in full each month - no WAY am I paying the interest they charge!
They want you to spend spend spend though, my limit seems to be ever-increasing :rolleyes:0 -

yeah thats the same as what my brother is after, something he can buy things on and pay it in full when the bill comes in. so if he clears it he'll have no probs with the interest then
Fac - is there an annual charge?0 -

No annual charge, sorry I forgot that - I think there was one (I did a bit of Googling when I applied) but perhaps they scrapped it.
No signs of the baby yet, thanks for asking - I've just moved house though so not in a massive rush (yet!!!!)0 -
