Precise mortgage overdraft

Options
Hi,
We have had a DIP for our mortgage through precise. We are just submitting all our stuff one of them being 3 months bank statements. Been reading up on internet and a little concerned. My partner has a £1000 arranged overdraft which when he gets paid comes out of it however then uses it throughout month.
Will this have an affect? My mortgage advisor doesnt seem to be worried about this. Its me the reason we have gone through precise had a default jan 2015.
Anyone who has dealt with this before any advise would be welcomed

Thanks

  • My husband is constantly in his overdraft, I've not been in mine for about 3 years and we've had our offer recently.

    You should be fine.

Everybody's circumstances differ. Underwriters will base their decisions on the finer detail taken as a whole.
  • My partner had an approved overdraft from her University days, as well as another current account which is in credit. Because it's within the agreed limit it wasn't a problem for Precise, and therefore shouldn't be for you either.

    Good luck! :)

Are your outgoings going to increase or decrease with the proposed mortgage?

i.e are you in a situation where you're paying £500pm rent currently and the mortgage is £1,000pm or the other way around?
