Adding partner to mortgage due to going self employed

I know there have been previous posts very similar to this but they are now a little out of date and don't completely answer my query so any help is appreciated.
Ive had a sole mortgage for 7 years, have good credit and just over 50% equity in the house. My current fixed deal ends in Oct 2018 (I know I have some time yet!) however I am due to be moving from full time employment to trading as a limited company in Oct 2017.
My partner is in full time employment @ £40k PA. We are due to marry in May prior to the mortgage renewal. Due to my change in employment we would look to also add her to the mortgage at the point of renewal. We would be looking for a mortgage of c.£120k so well within the constraints of her salary however, my concern is, despite her employment and salary, will my recent self employment act negatively in our application?
Any help or previous experience is appreciated!
