Moss Textiles Leeds Ltd?

I wonder if anyone uses the company as mentioned in the thread title? My wife has been using them for 10 years now but all of a sudden their phone is no longer accepting in-coming calls and when she emailed got no reply.

They are located at Norden House on Meanwood Road,Leeds, I get the feeling they have closed but was wondering if anyone who uses them or lives in the area could confirm this for me. We live in Northern Ireland now so can't really pop down to see them.

Not sure if this is the right board for this but I thought I would try. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Did your wife purchase fabric or craft items? The only place I know of on Meanwood Road was Embsay Mill and they have moved. I am out and about tomorrow so I will detour to that part of Leeds and check it out for you. Don't worry you aren't putting me out of my way I live about 4 miles away thats all. Hope I can help:)


Also if it's for trimmings your wife could call Bonds of Farsley, Leeds. They are the most amazing haberdashery shop in the area.

Not open Sunday Monday Tuesday but open rest of week, quite an Aladdins Cave

Success I drove down Meanwood Road today and saw Moss Textiles, all closed up.There was anote on the door explaining that they had been taken over. They are now based at

Hi, i had a shop selling craft items, trimmings, fabric etc.The best place i found (and by far the cheapest) was ;V & A Products,The Globe warehouse, White Abbey road, Bradford. sorry but i can't find phone number.minimum spend was £50 and they did mail order if needed but it was a pleasure to visit as they sold absolutely EVERYTHING. Hope you find this useful.

My husband worked at Habico until the last few months when he was ill and just talking to him Habico did relocate a large amount of stock back from Moss to Habico , though he didnt know that they had been took over . Def recommed any trader popping into Habicos warehouse ,thousands of lines , but please note there is a £100 min spend .
