Monkey2801 I think our timelines are exactly the same lol! We were told yesterday they are dealing with a backlog & we might not hear anything for upto 10 days! I'm not a very patient person anyways and this wait is killing me!
10 days! I was told on Friday it was 4, then today 6! I can be patient but as our Landlord is selling our house we have to be out by July 22nd so need to know where we're going!! :rotfl:0 -
I know what you mean! We're trying to find out if there's anyway we can get a decision sooner as our solicitors want money for searches and I'm reluctant to pay out any more money just in case everything falls through0

Hi, I've arrived from google. How did you get on with this situation? We're currently waiting on our DIP coming back from aldermore after being rejected by a high street bank. I missed a payment in Jan (the date was shifted and I hadn't realised, paid within the month) and I'm worried this will affect our chances of a mortgage as I have high borrowing. My partner doesn't... This is not a nice process! Again, same boat where affordability is not a problem for the value of house we're buying but we're wanting to loan 95% LTV. :~/0

Did either of the people who posted here get positive responses with Aldermore? Just got my DiP from them, and nervous that it may be tripped up by something at application stage...found a site where loads of people were ranting about issues of DiP followed by declined application... :-( very worrying!0

Hi Sarah,
I'm currently going through an application with aldermore. At the final stages now. Hasn't been to difficult in my opinion.0 -
Thanks :-) my broker did point out that happy customers aren’t generally so likely to be posting online, which can make it look like the annoyed ones are a majority when they’re not, but as I’m sure you know you can’t help but worry, especially when you’ve been told that no-one else would even consider you for at least a year and you’ve already found your dream house! I hope yours gets all sorted quickly for you :-)

I created my own thread with a time line which might help0

Is there a way we could contact you and do you still help with adverse lending?0

Hello guys, Currently in the final stages ( i think ) with Aldermore, To give you a little insight the house is 240000 and we are putting down 48000 i have a bit of a jaded past but it was all 3 years ago due to being made redundant and fell into a bit of a bad place with payday loans (totally debt free now)..
I am self employed and handed in 2 years books and my partner handed all her stuff in... "apparently" all our information has the tick and the valuation is being done on Friday between 8-1... Am i in the clear? apart from a possible under valuation what could go wrong at this stage?
Thanks
Richard0
