sensational tip - thankyou!0 -
thanks very much Amba_Gambla for posting this, ive got to say their service is really ace! unbelievably speedy delivery, and great quality prints, and if you use the simple to use ftp upload facility its a real cinch to get your photos uploaded to their site, as you can select all the images you want to upload in windows explorer then drag and drop them into the ftp window.
I had someone PM me and ask if there was a quicker/easier way of uploading - is ftp quicker/easier??
is it worth it with narrowband - I used my home broadbadn, butI'm not even going to attempt uploading narrowband!! has anyone tried this?? what kind of results/waiting times did ya get??0 -

in my opinion yes its a lot easier, give it a go, i think its quicker than the basic html upload form, as thats really fiddly and time consuming. To try out the ftp upload method, If you are using internet explorer, click the upload photos link, then click the ftp link, and you should get an ftp window open up, which basically acts the same as a windows folder/directory, you need to open the temporary upload folder, and drag and drop the images you have selected in windows explorer over to the upload folder, I havent tried their alternative activex/flash/java or whatever it is upload thingy as it didnt work in my browser for some reason, but im pretty sure it couldnt be any better than the simple and efficient ftp process.
In my case even though ive got a 1.5meg cable connection, the upload speed isnt that fast, so uploading 35 pics at 480k each, took a good few minutes.0 -
cheers for that!!
I'm going to attempt uploading on sloooooooooooow connection - will let you know!0 -
Thank you so much for this tip. Ordered at 3pm one day, and the photos arrived the next! I also got some free ones from Truprint (the offer code is somewhere on this site, just search for Truprint), but the quality and colours were MUCH better from Carphone Warehouse.
Thank you ;D0 -

First time using Moneyexpert properly, so didn't really think it would work. But.....
Ordered on Sunday, and got my photos this morning.
Something for nothing, fantastic! ;D0 -
