we forgot our tax once, its was 6 weeks late, we'd had one reminder, threw a SORN on the car and got it sorted, including having to get new insurance docs, are you sure it was only a week?

anyway, I thought that courts had to be involved to get a bailiff sent out? a lot of DCA's threaten bailiffs when it will actually be a debt collector at your door instead.

What fine did you get? the fine for not paying your car tax is £1000, what they are telling you is not adding up in my mind. Can you tell us EXACTLY what you were sent and by whom? all correspondance??
