OT advice on MHO status
OTworker
I am an Occupational Therapist who has worked in the NHS since 1989 in mental health.
I think that I am eligible for mental health officer status, as I meet all the requirements and I understand that therapists have recently been successful in gaining MHO status in retrospect (as in the past this was automatically given to nurses but not therapists)
I would welcome any advice that you could give me and I would particularly be glad to hear from other OTs if you have been successful in this, or know if anyone has?
Many thanks!
