Is taking a loan out to retrain worth it?

Hi all
I am a SAHM and looking to go back to work after a 6 year break. I have had no joy with interviews and not sure if I want to go back to my gardening career as part time roles don't come round that often and that's what I'm looking for.

I have seen a course that side steps into garden design but would mean I would have to take a loan out. Is it worth doing if you know you can pay back the loan within a year after completion?
Advice please.

If you can pay it back with a year of completing the course, I'd just save and then do the course, rather than taking out a loan?
  • Sorry, not very clear. I know I can earn the money back after re -training. You can earn more designing rather than just maintenance gardening it seems
