Boots Soltan Once suncare lotion!

Options
Don't know if this peculiar to just the store I used but.........

Soltan Suncare Lotion offer: Spend £12 & get free Soltan Once Face factor 30, 50ml worth £10.

OK, so I buy £10 Soltan Once 200ml, £10 Soltan Once Face 50ml (because I use the products & to take me over the £12 'spend' required). Plus the additonal 'free' £10 Soltan Once Face 50ml.

Total spend £20 & the 'free product. NOT!

At the checkout she rings up all 3 products & I'm charged £10.

Till receipt shows the 200ml product correctly as £10. The 2 Face products showing separately as 'linked' offer products both priced at £0.00.

Thanks Boots, undercharged by £10. :T :T

Not quite sure if that would happen for everyone, but you've certainly bagged a bargain there! :)

I went to boots this afternoon and it worked for me!

I bought 2 Soltan Face 50ml SPF50+ and one SPF30 and was charged £10! 3 for the price of 1!

I also spent enough (£50) to get the free beauty box which also has a Soltan face cream in it! :j :money:

I think this works because most Soltan under 100ml are minis which are currently 3 for 2. There is also 3 for 2 on some skincare including some Soltan tanning - (see online under Soltan then 3 for 2.) The 'free' £10 Soltan Once Face 50ml works on the spend before 3 for 2.

    I bought four sun items for a total of £10 - two (£5) 75ml children's 'Once' & one adult (£5) 75ml adult 'Once' - plus the 'free' £10 Soltan Once Face 50ml.

Not always easy to find the 3 for 2 Soltan instore. They can be with the general travel minis section & some shops have many sun tan lotion stands.

The 'free' £10 Soltan Once Face 50ml is no longer on offer online, so not sure how long it will be instore.

I think the free £50 gift may also work if the total before 3 for 2 is £50

I tried Soltan Once and I burnt within 2 hours.

Will stick to Ultrasun or Piz Buin Once a day now.

Each to their own but just a word of warning for people if they haven't used it before. May be best not to rely on it being a once a day product.

Me too - I used Once Clear Spray and the areas I put it on burned. The areas that had no sun protection on didn't burn. I think the one I used has since been discontinued but after I got burnt I read the reviews and other people had said the same.

I did this today too, thanks OP and Bougainvillea, perfect size for me taking in my bag on days out (but I won't rely on the "Once" as in once a day, I'll use it like normal re-application suncreams).

Don'r bother with this. I read an article in one of the papers over the weekend, where experts were saying that cheapo sun tan lotions (in poundland, poundshop, B&M, etc.) were just as good as the more expensive stuff.
