Everytime I wear a belt I get a rash on my stomach from the belt buckle so is there a certain belt that I can buy to stop me getting a rash.

it might be related to nickle in the buckle.. if so a nickle free version may help.0

You can try painting the back of the buckle with clear nail varnish - that sometimes stops the reaction.0

If/when this happens to me I put vaseline on my skin as a barrier. But it would be best to get a different belt - as mentioned above it could contain nickel or you might be reacting to something else.''A moment's thinking is an hour in words.'' -Thomas Hood0

Is the belt touching your skin? Could you be reacting the metal in the trousers pushed into your skin, or just the tightness - perhaps making a warm damp place, or rubbing.
Could you try a bit of rope or a tape tied to improvise a belt just to see if that solves the issue before buying anything? But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

When I was wearing a leather belt it gave me a rash but when I bought a pair of jeans with a canvas belt I stopped getting a rash so I thought I was allergic to leather, I've now bought another canvas belt and it's given me a rash so it's looks like I'm allergic to the metal buckle.theoretica wrote: »Is the belt touching your skin? One with a smaller buckle so it doesn't touch the skin? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
