    That is very sweet and innocent. So your CEO also works for you, does he? (Yes, I appreciate that in the ideal world s/he should......)


    The point being made is that in any dispute between employer and employee, HR are not your friend - they are there to protect the employer, not the employee. :)

    I'm not sure why you're getting your undies in a tangle about this, the posters in questions were simply making it clear that HR do not work for you (as in you the individual), they work for your employer and it is their interests they will be primarily concerned about, not yours.

    Anyway, I guess we won't see you again, so byeeeeeeee!
