M&S self tan rip off?

I've just bought luxe self tan facial thinking it was a superior product to the basic luxe self tan oil only to find it is exactly the same product but nearly 3 times the price - apparently because of economies of scale and packaging they tell me. I don't believe this in any way justifies nearly 3 times the price. So for all other shoppers don't buy the small one which is £33.93 per 100mll when the same thing is available for £12.50 for 100ml. Wish I'd noticed in store but think you'd need a magnifying glass to find this info!

And why is it a M&S rib off? The same products are sold elsewhere same pricing. Always read the ingredients, you will surprised at what companies charge just because they put for the face on it.0

Why did you think one luxe oil would be superior to another luxe oil?0

Not clear what products you're referring to?0

and the facial oil:

Is the OP absolutely sure that it's the same formula in both bottles?
It's no surprise to me that a facial product would be more expensive per ml.
The Boots Soltan I buy is £6.00 for 200ml.
The Boots Soltan Face cream I buy is £6.00 for 50ml.
I don't see that as a rip-off.0 -
Possibly not what the OP was hoping for, but now I've had a look at those, I'll definitely be buying them
Sounds like just the kind of thing I'm looking for!
And yes, I'd expect the facial one to cost more. Pretty standard marketing/approach - but doesn't stop anyone buying the larger 'body' version and using it on their face too (as people have clearly done if you read the reviews).0
