I usually buy Clarks but they`re not waterproof like they used to be. I don`t like Hush Puppies - they`re not comfy on my feet so is there any other good brands i can look at?
I walk into town everyday so need to be really comfortable on me.;)

I have a pair of Ecco's. I bought them from an outlet store for £25 2 years ago. They normally cost around £60. I need another pair as they're past their best, but they're the comfiest shoes I have. I'm reluctant to spend £60 on a pair of shoes, but if they last me 2 years then that's pretty good going (and i'm very hard on shoes).0

Doc martins have loads of different styles nowadays.
You could have a pair of walking shoes and keep the fancy ones at work.
I just spotted royal mail surplus ladies docs for £25. Deadly dull though.0
