Money coming in for a change!

I have a savings plan maturing this weekend, £1840! I am using £700 to pay off a long weekend in NY, seems extravagant when in debt but will be first and last holiday for a few years.
I will keep the rest back until my Nationwide overdraft review is safely out the way in November.. I hope this won't cause a problem as my OD is £1100 and I only go £850 into it and am reducing this all the time. I haven't had a bank charge in years, just worried about my poor credit score although they say online I can have £1350 OD. Once review is out the way and assuming it carries on, I will pay off the next highest APR on my snowball.
Anyway, enough ramblings.. it feels good to have money coming my way for a change!

Hi Squirrel - I'm available for trips to NY

gtd (also nearing 40 - it's the new '21' in my book)Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 208 - Proud To Have Dealt With My Debts DEBT FREE DECEMBER 2008!!!0 -
My forties are going to be brilliant!! I intend to be debt free and never have to worry again about the postman turning up!!
My whole adult life has been spent wittering about cash, my twenties were spent earning a pittance and paying nursery fees, my thirties were spent getting divorced and not reduced outgoings accordingly (hence the debt).
I can't wait for NY, I got a 4 night deal for £330 each!! I won't go crazy though, my DFW ways are part of my life now so I will stuff myself crazy on $5 breakfasts and fill myself up until teatime!

That's a fantastic deal! MMmmm and the thought of those $5 breakfasts.... However, I also want to get fit for my forties, so I'll just have to pass
