Hi,
I left my previous job at the beginning of the month and I was expecting to be paid today the 3 days that I work.
Just look my bank details and they paid me a full month.
Should I say anything? Can they request the money back?
For all the hours that I worked in there and I wasn't paid, I deserve this :A

They will notice, maybe this week or in 6 months time but when they do you will have to pay it all back. Save yourself the hassle...0

Are you sure you didn't get paid a month in arrears? If you did then this could be money you are owed. Either way you need to contact your former employer as you have no right to keep money to which you are not entitled.0

No, you do not. If you worked for an employer and they failed to pay you correctly, you should have taken the necessary steps at the time.
If they have now paid you incorrectly, they will take the correct steps and you'll have to repay it.0 -
What ever you do, don't spend it! I'd highlight the mistake and ask them to sort it out. IIRC if there is a genuine mistake the employer can recover the payment without your permission - but as you no longer work there I don't know how they would do that. They may end up having to take you to court, but really, just tell them, easier.0

Maybe so, but if they failed to pay him correctly, and the OP can prove it, they still owe him the money. That debt doesn't expire just because it's a few months old or the OP has left.
In which case the OP should tell the employer that they've made a mistake about the three days (assuming that it isn't actually April's paycheque in arrears), and ask for what they are owed for the unpaid hours, and either demand or offer whatever the net amount is.
I suspect from the way the OP was phrased that they weren't actually paid incorrectly. In which case, as others have said, contact them and tell them of the mistake. It doesn't sound like you were particularly happy with the employer, so don't let them screw you further by dragging you into a legal dispute which you cannot win.0 -
Happend to a chap i work with..owes £2000 and pays back £10 a month.
Long as you stick to agreement they cant do much more than accept it.0 -

The OP didn't say they weren't paid correctly, just that he did overtime which he/she wasn't paid for. There's a big difference, particularly if in a salaried role where a certain amount of overtime is expected, and stated in the contract. If the OP did overtime without it being requested or authorised that was their own decision.0 -
Thank you everyone.
I decided to keep the money but don't spend for now.
If in the next month I don't receive any payment, I believe that nothing will happen.0 -
I had problems many years ago when working as an IT contractor. The agency I worked through got my pay wrong every month and I had to chase to get things corrected. When I finished with them they paid me the gross amount, despite providing me with a payslip showing tax and NI deductions. I didn't say anything, and as they went bust shortly after (no great surprise) I don't think they will now. Nonetheless, errors really should be raised in case they come back to bite you later.0

In the meantime, stick the money in an interest-bearing account. They may ask for their money back, but the interest is yours to keep.No longer a spouse, or trailing, but MSE won't allow me to change my username...0
