C2W's

I've been doing c2w's for a little while, with no success but I didn't expect any so soon anyway, my query is whether they are worth going forward with, just because even though it's only clicking, it is very time consuming on my (probably ancient) laptop.

Has anyone had success with c2w's before and as such are they worth doing in your opinion?

Thanks so much in advance

  • I used to do well on them then gave them up for a while due to time constraints. Recently took them up again and have done them without fail every day but not, I think, for long enough to judge whether it's worth it.
However - I'm starting to think there MUST be more gainful ways to spend my time and I think I remember someone here saying the odds are appalling!
I don't know if I can be bothered to keep on with them tbh - have there been any MSE wins lately?

There have been winners but the odds are very much against with so many entry routes for most prizes and many of them probably open for a couple of months or more - if something is only on 20 sites for 2 months that still means you could have 1,200 entries for one prize and many have far more potential entries per e-mail address than that.

This with a value of only £57 is available on at least 50 sites
WIN THE LEGACY SEASON 1- 3 ON DVD BOX SET

assuming it was open for 2 months that's a possible 3,000 entries per e-mail address so entering every day and actually winning means each entry earned less than 2 pence worth of prize.

That said it's possible to win with just one entry but they would be near the bottom of my entry list of legitimate competitions.

I had several wins (worth about £1,400) back in 2014 with generally 20 or less entries but haven't really touched them since then as the number of sites became absurd and seems to keep rising.

The Simply Media ones are spread across far fewer sites so offer better odds, the FPL version is here

and all 6 of the sites are listed towards the bottom of this post

Thank you both for your responses, I was mostly sure that they weren't worth the effort, as although I know most win's probably aren't posted in the IWIWIW thread, I don't recall ever seeing anyone posting that they've won anything from C2W'S.

I do every other type of comp going except fb as I don't have a fb account so I will definitely drop C2W's as I have many other comps to keep me busy.
  • I think I might join you ZeeZee. Already haven't done them for two days and I feel SO much better!
  • Can I ask a daft question... What are C2W? Do you mean Mag Daily?

    Click to Win.
They're on the same thread as the Mag Dailies in the Regular Comps forum (https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5633492)

It's the ones at the bottom where you just enter your email address, ie : http://winit.absoluteradio.co.uk/

I've had mixed luck with them, they are time consuming and I've given up on them a bit now, I'm sure I'll go back t it at some point as I have won a few things off them in the last year. I did also win win one with one entry (i clicked the wrong competition and just entered it anyway since it was loaded and my email was already filled in, turned out I won it (Avon Aftershave) ... I've never won anything worth than £100 on them though).
