Hi. I'm looking for good quality outdoor container-grown plants (not big). Know anywhere good? I'm in the west but can and do travel.

After anything in particular? Dozens of garden centres in around Belfast0

No - hoping to see something I like! Part of the site's very shaded though, only gets sun in the evening.
Which garden centres would you recommend?0 -
I've always found Dobbies Garden Centre on the Saintifield Road in Lisburn to be good. Whilst they aren't the cheapest, the plants are well cared for and there's a good selection. The staff have helped me out when choosing plants for particular locations.
... and they have a lovely cafe too!Norn Iron Club Member 330

Would second Dobbies as a good garden centre. Just up the road from there is Cameron's garden centre on Hillhall road which is much smaller but worth a look around on your way to Dundonald Nurseries which is my personal favourite for plants - (with their Secret Garden restaurant well worth a stop off).
Stil not sure what you mean by "outdoor container grown plants" as that will encompass virtually every plant you will see in any nursery!
Shady options/part sun - think Hosta, Hydrangea, aquilegia, foxglove, bleeding heart etc. Any of those places above will be happy to advise.0 -
Many thanks, and apologies: I meant plants for growing in containers, preferably already in them (as I don't have any containers). You wouldn't think English was my first language!0
