DRP won't back down

just put w and copy and paste

HI Im new to this forum, Hello everyone hope all is good!! :)

I have received a parking fine for gong and sitting in my car around the back of my local shell whilst I eat my Big Mac. the town are right next to each other.

I have sent the to them the letter I found on here like this :

As the registered keeper, I have received your parking invoice which of course, I decline your invitation to pay. I wish to invoke your appeals process, since all liability to your company is denied on the following basis:

1) The amount being claimed is not a genuine pre-estimate of loss to your company or the landowner
2) Your signage does not comply with your ATA Code of Practice and was not sufficiently prominent to create any contract
3) You are not the landowner and do not have the standing to offer contracts nor to bring a claim for trespass

I have kept sending them this and now received this letter from the DRP.

The company who issued the ticket are

HX carpark management LTD

who have now passed onto DRP.

Can anyone help me with what I should do next??? thanks

I was only there like ten mins :(

You continue to ignore DRP - they won't back down until they realise that continuing to chase you is a lost cause. Please read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #4.

Only come back if you are served court papers.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

You will also read hundreds of times on this site to ignore DRP
I hope you have not said who the driver was ???

DRP are useless unworthy debt collectors who think they are
powerful but infact are timewasters and can do 100% nothing

Shows how dumb they are quoting Elliot v Loake which in the courts has been dismissed as fairy tale stuff

IGNORE DRP and if you get court papers from the PPC then come back here for all the help you need

Do your reading on this site first
  • I have replied to DRP before on a number of occasions, but only to demonstrate the unreasonable position of a parking company (and their debt recovery agents).

I can happily oblige by confirming that they have yet to read and properly respond to a single letter sent to them (but they do love a good template letter).

They will appear to offer legal advice/analysis, but they are not lawyers and each case is different. As such don't be persuaded by mere reference to the supreme court, just because they say you should be!

They may make a settlement offer, but only after inflating the charges substantially so that the "discount" is so modest that the full ticket cost remains payable (I. e. not actually any realistic settlement proposal at all)

I've quite enjoyed the game, but don't play it expecting to get anywhere. The advice to ignore DRP proffered by many may be a better use of your time.

Unless and until there is a court order DRP cannot do anything other than write letters.

DR+ are useless Muppets and liars, that letter is full of rubbish and is in itself a cobbled together template.

For example they quote BPA signage and yet as they also say the PPC is a member of the IPC.

They have no idea about the site at all, talking about signage they will never have even seen it's all garbage.

As already pointed out their references are non related threats to get you frightened into giving in.

By replying you are showing they have you hooked, as they are powerless and can do no more than send scary letters (look at that red font wow) you should ignore them.

I have seven of these including some from their other scam company Zenith Collections, who should be renamed Zenith in Desperation!

The only saving grace is you have at least made them spend time and money sending you something slightly personalised, have a laugh about that when they give in and crawl back under their stone.

You need to take those images down and redact your name. That plus your initial posts hands the parking scammers the name of the driver, which is a bad idea. You therefore need to remove all information about who did what.

    Do it NOW.

it doesnt matter that they wont back down , because they are powerless to act

all they can do is send out scary letters, which they do, by the thousand
