Nearly all my financial problems have been caused by gambling. However I now realise that it's not the gambling it's greed. More often than not a gambler will at times show a healthy profit but due to greed the addiction is not satisfied until all your money has gone. Only a real gambler would know/admit this.
Anyway I am going to shock you with what I propose to do.........I think I'm pretty good at playing online poker and for ages I have tended to win a good few quid prior to then going on the online casino and losing it. Sad, stupid but unfortunately true. Anyway I've cancelled my debit card so I can't plough money in online anymore, I can deposit £20 in a betting shop. I'm going to try and just do the poker bit for a month and see how I get on.Sorry for the long boring post but I think that if I share my madcap idea with you guys and post how I get on it will give me an incentive to stick to it. Please don't give me too much abuse as I realise it's not a great idea but I honestly think I can clear £10 - £20 a day with ease.
Wish me Luck.0 -

I'm not having a go but I really don't think this is a good idea. If you are opening accounts through Quidco and only spend what you have to deposit but if thats not how your doing it then please dont' I just think it is GAMBLING which is gambling with you rmoney. No matter how good you are things are fixed and you can potentially get in more and moe debt. It would be better if you find other ways to make money ways that can sustain you forever. We are now debt free and whilst getting there we have made so many ways to make extra pennies we are so much better off.
Its your decision but please look up gambling in the dictionary adn think about the frank explanation it gives for it.
Best wishes no matter what and please still join the thread and we'll think of money making ways together!!!!May 2015 £10 a day currently £2080 -
Ok everyone I am going to open a new thread today so we can get some people joining before 1st Nov so PLEASE everyone have a look and JOIN!!!!May 2015 £10 a day currently £2080

I'm afraid I haven't dome very well at all this month, not to give lots of excuses but I haven't been well plus doing a lot overtime at work (and I don't get overtime pay). I may not have earnt much this month, but I have made a few savings. We needed a new oven (as old one doesn't work) Order new one during a sale week and saved £50. Plus been stocking up on Dog food on special offers saving probably another £50. Shopped around on home Insurance renewal and saved £100 on renewal quote. Been a bit clever with shopping etc, probably saved another £50 this month so if I include all of those savings I probably have made £310 this month0

Just had some really good news getting a small bonus next month, so a bit of the overdraft will be gone yippeee, already bought most of the christmas presents, so shouldn't have a big increase in spending in November or December. Feeling much happier now.0

I was thinking I'd have to cheat a bit and add in part of the quarterly bonus I got from work, but as it turns out, I've met the goal without it. Am really pleased. Thanks all for being such an inspiration - I'm so glad most of you have met your goal as well.
