Mortgage with new job in same company.

I have to apply for my mortgage next month (June) to confirm purchase of a new build home that I've already reserved, but according to most of the affordability calculators, my current salary showing on my payslips will be right on the limit for how much I need to borrow. It looks like I could be a couple of grand short.
However I've been given a new role in the same company with an £8,000 pay rise which will take my affordably well past what I need to borrow, however my start date isn't until July. So I probably won't have payslips with my new salary until July/ or August
My completion date isn't until October, so I will definitely have them by then, but I do have my contract confirming start date and salary from employee. They can also give me a reference.
Will I be able to apply for my mortgage with the new salary using this as proof of income?

I had similar, my promotion kicked in just as I was applying mortgage. A letter from my employer sent off with application was enough to use it for affordability
Hope this helps0
