I guess with paperless billing this gets harder. The only thing that I can find, for my Coventry BS mortgage application, is a £99 rent outstanding letter.
I never not paid my rent, and at that time it was being paid by Direct Debit. Am I better to delay things and try to source something else? Do utility companies send a written bill on request?
I do have letters from my pension provider, would that be ok?

Is it to prove your ID or your address ?
One item I have used successfully in the past for ID, if you can bear to hang on the phone, is to ring HMRC and ask them if they can send you a tax coding notice (assuming that you don't have one already - I think they only mail them if you are on a non-standard tax code).0 -
I think it is sorted now, sent off a council tax statement, they accept longer than 3 months with those.
Payslips have my address on too.0 -
Most lenders accept electronic copies of bank statements so long as it shows account number, sort code, name and address.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. They have a employer printed payslip with my address on too, but the bank statements dont have my address on.
I think it should be straight forward, but lets see.0
