I'm thinking of letting these guys deal with the recent damage to my car. Background here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5651375

I know these companies have a seriously bad rep but I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has used this one in particular. They have guaranteed me that I will not be liable for any charges if they cannot recover from the third party. I will insist on this in writing before letting them proceed.

Accident management companies. Another reason why we have sky high insurance costs. Nothing but parasites. Get the repairs done at a garage of your choosing. Forget about the accident management company.
  • Not sure if the same company but when i rang the Renault accident support line 2 years ago i was directed to Crash services, from memory based in Newry?

Found them very professional and rang with constant updates, they guaranteed a hire car of similar make to my own which insurance company could not promise and also able to receive a cheque for several hundred pounds for depreciation of my car which again the insurance company did not offer.

    Don't ever use these companies.
Crash represented me for what should have been a £400 repair with no liability issues.
It was nearer £3000 before they had finished. The damaged panel had been repaired not replaced. Surveyors, Engineers, solicitors, van hire (I could have hired a Ferrari cheaper) all had an exorbitant invoice. My own insurance went up as I had a "not at fault accident". Then half the solicitors in the country acquired my personal number & phoned me about my non existent injuries & how I should see their private consultant. DONT!
