Investor Profit Portfolio - anyone heard of it?

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone out there could help me out. I have some money tucked away and I've been thinking of investing. I recently stumbled upon Investor Profit Portfolio. They are working alongside Gateway Films who specialise in low-budget british gangster movies. IPP claim that I can make a decent sum of money if I invest roughly £3,000 into the Gateway Film company and their productions. The money I'm investing will come from my pension. Do you think it's worth it? I think they're legit but I'm not sure if I'll recoup that money back.

Any help is much appreciated. I'm a beginner when it comes to things like this.

Golden rule of investing when you are an inexperienced investor is to never invest money in unregulated financial investments promising riches, promoted by people making bold claims that you "think are legit" when you have zero experience in conducting due diligence on unregulated financial investments but happened to "stumble upon" them.

Legit or not, there will be 100% loss potential and the percentage chance of making a "decent sum of money" is, to all intents and purposes, a complete unknown.

Giving you the benefit of the doubt (ie assuming you are not just a shill for the company hoping someone here will start talking about it in a positive way and provide a link)... No. Don't invest in this. Take the £3000 you have available for investment and follow some of the investing newbie threads, invest it in an investment fund via an S&S ISA, which allocates your money into hundreds or thousands of well known, profitable and legitimate companies listed on stock exchanges the world over.

I also noticed it's only for sophisticated investors or high net worth individuals. Do you fall into this category?

Also what happens if the film flops, you lose everything?

Did you get some good advice, and did you invest with Gateway Films? I've been contacted recently, only now the suggested minimum is £10k. Like you, I think they look legit, but I can't find much about them apart from their own sites and promos.

Sounds like financial seppuku, I'm no financial expert.

I'm sure there will be some new posters come along soon and give you sound advice,even possibly anecdotes of their positive experience.

Gateway films is recommended if you have money to invest I invested 7000 made quite a fair bit back yes you could lose everything.... Chance u take give them a ring
