Wall mounted solar panels?

Already have 4kw system on my south facing roof and was thinking that wall mounted solar panels would be good for winter generation given the low sun angle.
Is this possible?.
Anyone done this?.
4kWp, South facing, 16 x phono solar panels, Solis inverter, Lincolnshire.

Nothing wrong with wall mounted, loads around the world, and 2 of my panels are wall mounted as I had brackets made to mount them over the back door, and to match the pitch of the lower roof.

But .... I believe that wall mounted panels need planning permission, they aren't PD (permitted development). No idea if PP is easy or not.

You might want to consider mounting them at a steep angle, rather than straight to the wall. Use PVGIS to experiment, but for south facing in Oxford, for 1kWp I got:
    35d 974kWh
    70d 872kWh
    90d 702kWh

As a guide, for the two panels, I paid an 'iron-man' to make 4 brackets, galvanised, pre-drilled (for attaching panel rails (as well as wall mounting)), including threaded rod and nuts for 12 fixings, and a tube of resin to fix the rods in the walls - came in at £100 in 2012.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

Didn't know Robert Downey did that kind of work, but was thinking 90d as I am more interested in getting some winter generation than total gen.

Even in Dec, a steep slope (say 75 deg) is better than true vertical.

Also isn't there a big chance of shading in winter with the sun so low?
    I think....
