Hiya
We agreed a sale with a buyer who was having a buy to let mortgage for her son to rent on the 25th April. We then agreed to buy another house a week later from a family member and had our valuation on the 19th May. I spoke to our buyer today as no valuation had been arranged and she said that she gave all of her application paper work to her broker on the 2nd May but has still not heard anything. She is having a buy to let mortgage with Principality who I am told arrange a valuation straight away. She said that her broker says there's no news regarding her application yet?? Also said that she should arrange a solicitor yet until he gets back to her. Shall I keep waiting or should we put back on the market with an option for her to buy once she has the mortgage sorted? I'm concerned that just getting a mortgage sorted seems to be taking a long time with no valuation arranged yet. She did say that she would ring Principality herself next Tuesday (30th May) for an update but it will be another week gone. Our EA thinks it's long enough for her to sort and we should look at relisting. I don't know what to do for the best. Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated

If she is not even following the matter up with the broker. (Or at least admitting to there being some delay). Relist the property. The door is always open to her. Might focus her attention as well.0
