Weekly to monthly pay!

Go through what you need to pay:
Rent/ mortgage - do you have any mortgage holidays? Rent - could you go to the council/ landlord and explain the circumstances to see if they can be paid late. They could if you pay on time normally
Electric/ gas - are you in credit or is it payg? If it's by direct debit Id possibly even cancel it for the month, apologise and reset it up or ring up and explain
Water rates - ive had it through work where it will be a few weeks before they get in contact but they might allow it to be late.
Internet - these might charge a late fee if it's late as we had it with a student house. But same- ring up and see if you can pay it later.
Food wise - if you buy a big bag of potatoes and mince and a few tins of tomatoes you could do a few cheap meals to cut costs.
Transport - could it be walked for a few weeks (depends how far mind) if not if they have any local travel cards could you put it on your credit card to be paid off in your first pay packet?
I really would avoid pay day loans - they go on your credit rating and aren't brillant. Might be worth looking if shopacheck still go as they didn't used to before. Or approach your bank to see if you can get an overdraft as you might be able to - might be a small charge but will more than likely cheaper than the other options:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

Do you have a week in hand with your current employer or any holiday pay to come?
Some companies allow you to change your direct debits to a different date in the month
Do you know your exact pay date and what period it covers - we are paid mid month, half in arrears, half in advance which means only a couple of weeks to cover.
Salary advance
Anything you can sell?
Would friends and family perhaps offer a few meals to help out even if they can't lend you cash?
Perhaps obvious but strip your budget to the bone - you can eat cheaply for short periods.0 -
Salary advance would be my preferred route. Work out the absolute minimum you need to see you through to payday and ask if that's possible.0

As an employer, it would be absolutely no problem to either advance some pay or to phase the transition - I suggest asking them if there is something they can do.0
