As most UK banks operate in Jersey can you not see if any have card offers? (In Jersey)

Similar threads have been started in the past by individuals resident in places such as the Isle of Man and Gibraltar.
Unfortunately, looking at the replies to such threads, it appears that no regular posters to these forums actually know the answer.
The advice that has been previously given is to ask locally to family, friends, relatives, work colleagues, neighbours and possibly even local bank branches (not the offshore branches but the actual bank branches which exist to provide normal banking services to the local residents) to find out how residents of such territories go about obtaining credit cards.
Having said that, if you are looking for a balance transfer card then presumably you have a balance to transfer which would strongly imply that you do already have a credit card. How did you obtain this card?
Please, when you do ask and find out, get back to the forum and let us know because others who have asked such questions never do.
