Hi all, is there any restrictions to a former BR getting a newer car?
Currently in an IPA but do not have to contribute anything to it anymore as they have settled my accounts and my father has given me £6000 to buy a new car as my old banger is on its last legs.
Do I have to mention this to my IPA team?

No restriction, you're discharged. The £6,000 is not income (you didn't earn it) and has been given on condition that you use it to buy a new car.

My parents gave me some money to buy a new car 6 months after discharge, I called the OR to ask if it was ok. They said I can do as I please no need to check with them
