It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Thanks everyone for your messages of support x I am just getting some more totals then will be back to post my outstanding debt.

Goals for this week include taking lunch to work every day. Today I am having pasta bake. Just cooking the pasta now.
I will also search up other lunch box ideas to keep me busy this week. I will also try to exercise three times. I will not spend during work time at all unless I have too and aim for at least 4 NSDs. Monday night's dinner is always quick and easy so thinking of ways I can prep this before work to make things easier for me tonight. Slow cooker anyone?

I also wish to finish my book about a fashion editor who goes to live in Denmark. I have been reading it for what feels like forever! Anyone read it?

Must go get the kids dressed and myself at least half presentable for work. I had an interview last week for a more senior position which will pay quite a bit more. I tend to worry and stress waiting to hear so I shall try my best today to not even think about it. Wish me luck!

    Thoughts for today.

I have £14.94 on my boots advantage card which I am planning to save for Christmas. I have £40 Tesco club card vouchers saved which I am also trying to save for Christmas. I also have a triple points voucher for boots which lasts until 28/05 which I will use. I think I will stock up on the deal shower gels and shampoos.

I have two passport forms to sort and complete and post. I must do them this week.

I have my NUS student Discount Card through as I am taking some professional qualifications in work. Anyone have one and know where the good deals are? I must research this further!

Meal Planning! I think this is going to be key to saving some cash. I will think about this more this week.

Along the same lines I need to stop eating out during the week. I work in a busy central London location and the choices to eat out are unbelievable! But at £15 per time it soon adds up. I have been trying this since the beginning of the year and it is going well. I decline most leaving/birthday lunches and then pick and choose which friends lunches I attend. I have been at my place of work for over ten years so have amassed a lot of colleagues that I want to keep in contact with. We do have a staff restaurant which is subsidised so I have a place to meet with friends and I can also bring my own packed lunch to.

Busy day at work for me today, seems to go in peaks and troughs. It is also pay day! Whoop

I got a double points voucher in Tesco this morning which also means a non NSD for me :(

It doesn’t expire until 18/6 so I will make good use of that. I usually buy groceries online so I will need to gear myself up for a trip to store with at least the baby, possibly all three children. Wish me luck! I hate shopping in store. The kids hate it. I hate it. Everybody loses.

I still haven’t heard anything about the job……patience is not my thing.

Well yesterday was busy! But I have another busy day today in work. Made worse by an argument with my teen this morning. Why does it always seem to be a longer day when it starts off badly? Grrrrr. My manager is keen to get everything done today so busy busy busy.

I think I have managed to get out of a work lunch unscathed. I did not bring my packed lunch today though due to this morning’s events so will need to grab something to eat.

Money saving/debt busting wise I know I need to get myself in gear and list all outstanding debts. I also would like to build an emergency fund. I know from reading this should be approx. three months wages. So I will have a think bout how to build on this.

Tonight we are having freezer food for dinner. I am also “thinking” about travelling to the big tesco near us to take advantage of my double points voucher.

I have three things listed on ebay with another three at least to be added. I plan to do this tonight also.

    Jobs for today:

    Work!
Send wrong sizes back to m and s. Took advantage of 20% off to stock up on baby clothes. Baby is growing faster than a fast thing! Some things were too small
List two more things on eBay. I did only one last night
Check passport form for teen. They sent it back to me last week with an error.
Get back in to fly lady! Enough said.
