Hi hope someone can help me i want to buy something direct from china how much would the import tax be as i do not want to be stung?

VAT will be 20% (£78) but there may be import duty to add to that as well. There are different duty rates on different products, so the next question is what is it?0 -

Import duty on plastic products from China is 6.5% - an inflatable photo both might not qualify as a plastic product but on your limited information that seems to be the right one.
So declared value at customs £100, import duty £6.50, VAT £21.30 ... total £127.800 -

fraud committed = under declared value of £290, VAT evaded of £58 duty of £18.85, total of £76.850 -
As you are buying this for your business, why are bothering to risk saving a few quid with a fake deceleration?
Presumably this expense is tax deductible including VAT if your business is VAT registered.0
