Hi everyone,
Hugs to Nelski and anyone else in need of one.
Didn't get the early(ish) night I wanted as the MrT scout camp food order was half an hour late - got a £5 voucher as a goodwill gesture. Then our elderly pooch had blood dripping from his eye socket (sorry if TMI) as he had run into something in the garden, so spent a while clearing that up. Woke up with searing cramp in my calf at midnight so was hopping around the bedroom and DH got up to help, which was sweet but not much he could do bless him.
Did managed to do a wash last night though so every cloud.
Today work is slow (hence why I'm on here). Out at theatre tonight seeing Priscilla with a group of girl friends. Eating out first.
Not much O/S happening today - sorry I failed the thread!!
Can I ask if anyone has private health insurance? We had family cover with DH's job but have been paying our own for the last two years. The premiums are now nearly £100 a month - we have never made a claim - so I'm wondering whether to go 'old style' and just save the same amount each month? Both DH and I have critical illness cover (separate policies) and life assurance to cover the mortgage, and separate term assurance policies in trust for the children until they are through education. We are mid-40's, I only go to the docs for my 3 yearly ladies check and DH hasn't been in 13 years! Any views most appreciated, thank you.
Hope you all have a great afternoon,

Can't help re health insurance I'm afraid; we used to have it with Mr LW's work, but that stopped when he retired. We did look at taking it out ourselves, but they wanted over £400 a month - and that was at a preferential rate because he'd had the works one! So after we picked ourselves up off the floor, we said "no thanks".
I have canine company, after what seems like forever dogless; Cassie is here for her holiday. :T It's her 10th time here, and she ran into the house when Mr LW opened the front door, as if she owned the place. She made a new friend on her walk, a young choc lab; and she's eaten her dins with gusto - and pinched the cushion Mr LW had been sitting on to do console gaming when he got up for a loo break.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Feeling miserable today, I have a cold, havent had one for years and finding it very irritating, ear ache, sore throat and sneezing for Ireland.Dosed myself withhoney, thyme and lemon last night, slept well, butback to square one today.
