I wanna buy - Diecast Engie Bengy

We had Dan, but he went blind and lost his arm, so a replacement has been requested, along with his friends to keep him company, but I'm struggling.

They were either by Ertl or Corgi - I'm hoping Ertl as that means I've found Dan on Amazon, but no joy with the others so far.

Also, does anyone know if there was a friction/larger scale range for this programme? I did notice a 'Born To Play' Messenger Mo & Bike on Amazon - they did the friction for Bob, Postman Pat etc, so I wondered if they'd done this as well.

If I can get a set of them instead, I'm sure the boys won't mind.

Sorry, don't know the range well enough to say whether what you want is available - but try Ebay. Some items listed as secondhand, but still boxed.

this is a link to mailorderexpress.com who sell engie benjy toys!

they definatly used to make the friction toys for this and they were about 8.99 each i seem to remember. we had all the set up until about 6 mnths ago when they were sold on ebay!
they used to stock them in woolworths, but if you have a TJ Morris or "home bargains" store local to you, they had them in there a couple of weeks ago. If you have any trouble, let me know and i will check my local store out for you.
