    Re clothes etc for your son(and yourselves for that matter) are you registered on freecycle? Ours often have stuff like school uniforms, football boots and so on. May take a bit of pressure off. Good luck.

    o0o0o yes i'm registered...never thought of that...i'm not bothered for myself really...living with OH technically gives me two wardrobes :D

    Has anyone got uniforms from freecycle? It doesn't come back on the kids does it? On saying that, perhaps i could get a friend to pick it up for me....you know how cruel kids can be !

    It shouldn't matter at all should it - but yes, kids can be cruel. Part of me thinks you/they shouldn't be ashamed, but remembering how it felt to be a kid, I would say sending a friend might be a good compromise.
