Advice for Transfer of Equity / Mortgage

Hi,

My wife is currently named on the Deeds & Mortgage (Natwest) for a House she shared with her sister. We are looking to move house and therefore she would like to be removed from this House/Mortgage so that we can borrow more money. Our house is currently in my sole name only.

The mortgage on the house with her sister is due to end a Fixed
Rate in November 2017.

Assuming Natwest are happy for her sister to take on the Mortgage on her own is there any advantage in waiting until the Remortgage is due November 2017 or should we proceed with the Transfer of Equity now?

Thanks for your advice!
