AIP to Offer

Hi
My friend has an offer on a house accepted and has an approved AIP from a Provider.
The vendor he is buying from has yet to find a house.
Should he proceed with his full application and start searches etc. or should he wait until the vendor has found a house of there own before asking for work to be done (I assume costa re incurred as soon as you go to a full application)
Thanks

No.
Wait for the chain to solidify before starting spending money. The move at the same pace as everyone else to avoid offer expiring before chain ready to complete.I am a mortgage broker. Totally agree. Even a full chain can fall to pieces so do not risk anything before the chain is even formed...Unless the vendor is happy to move out and effectively chain break?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
