Has anyone used Halifax/Lloyds online car finance service? If so, how long were you a customer with them before you were eligible?

Thanks! :)

It all depends on your internal score with them as well as external data from your credit file, I've been with both for over 2 years and don't qualify but got a better deal with the manufacturer finance.

As it is with this type of credit scoring you will never get an exact answer as everyone's file and their behaviour score Is different and one more point you may find Lloyds will give you car finance but Halifax won't and it may change on a monthly basis as they take in the credit file data or vice Versa Halifax will Lloyds won't.

Thanks - that's good to know. I am interested in their car finance product but as I'm a fairly new customer, I wasn't sure if it was worth holding out to see if I would become eligible after a few months. Maybe not...

I'm surprised you're not eligible after two years with them!

Just wondered if anyone had used the product and how long they'd been a customer for when they did.
